Whether you are looking for unique things to do in Nashik, a sustainable alcoholic beverage experience, or simply a fantastic weekend getaway in Maharashtra, our meadery tour offers an unforgettable journey. Learn directly from our Co-Founders, Dr. Ashwini Deore and Dr. Yoginee Budhkar, as they answer all your questions about what makes mead the drink of the Gods!

Learn about bees, honey and mead. What makes mead the most sustainable alcoholic beverage? What has led to the popularity of meads? What is so special about the honey we use in our meads? All your questions will be answered at our meadery! Our Co-Founders, Dr. Ashwini Deore and Dr. Yoginee Budhkar are happy to share what they know about this amazing beverage.

Cerana Meadery Tour Honey Tasting

Guided Honey Tasting

Prepare to be pleasantly surprised. Taste the various nuances of pure, unprocessed, and ethically sourced honey. We’ll walk you through the distinct flavour profiles of the varietal honeys we use to craft our meads, which are also available for you to purchase and take home.

The Art of Bee Keeping

Enjoy a sting-free demonstration of modern beekeeping. Find out how the honeybees painstakingly convert the floral nectar into honey. Know where our honey comes from, inspect actual bee-boxes, and learn how honey is sustainably harvested. (Fun bonus: you can even pose for photos wearing a bee-veil or holding a frame: don't worry, these specific display boxes don't have live bees in them!)

Craft Mead Making

Craft Mead Making

Discover the science and soul behind every pint. We take you onto the production floor to see the fermentation tanks and learn exactly what goes into brewing the world's oldest and most sustainable alcoholic beverage.

Exclusive Mead Tasting

The grand finale. Immerse yourself into the most magical part of the tour. Sample a variety of our sessionable meads as we take you through the history of this wonderful potion. And guess what, depending on the day, you might even get exclusive access to our experimental, work-in-progress recipes straight from our mead makers.
