This is where the magic happens! Our meadery is a little oasis in the midst of the Malegaon industrial area in Sinnar, Nashik. The meadery is a treasure trove of information related to everything honey and meads.
Learn about bees, honey and mead. What makes mead the most sustainable alcoholic beverage? What has led to the popularity of meads? What is so special about the honey we use in our meads? All your questions will be answered at our meadery! Our Co-Founders, Dr. Ashwini Deore and Dr. Yoginee Budhkar are happy to share what they know about this amazing beverage.
Honey Tasting
A guided honey tasting experience which will pleasantly surprise you. You will enjoy the various nuances of pure, unprocessed and most importantly ethically sourced honey that we use in our meads and make available for you to buy.
Bee Keeping
A sting-free demo of beekeeping. Our visitors will get to see where honey comes from, the actual bee-boxes and how honey is harvested. Also, if you desire you can even get your photos clicked with a bee-veil or while holding a frame from a bee-box, you know, just for fun! (We haven’t filled these bee-boxes with honeybees yet.
Mead Making
Know exactly what goes into making that pint or glass of mead that you enjoy so much! We bring you the art and science involved in making a beverage worthy of being called, the drink of the Gods!
Mead Tasting
You will get to taste a variety of meads that we offer, along with a few experimental or work in progress recipes when available.
Protocols for the Tour
- We are limiting the number of people in a particular time slot to a maximum of 15 to ensure social distancing.
- Face masks are recommended to be worn at all times except the tasting sessions.
- We require that all visitors have undergone at least 1 Covid 19 vaccination dose and proof of the same will be required upon entry.
- If you show any symptoms of cough, cold or fever, we would not be able to accommodate you for the tour.
- Keep in mind these precautions are for your safety and for the team’s safety as well.
- Children under the age of 12 will be allowed entry free of cost but will only be permitted to do a honey tasting while being accompanied by their parents.
